Miniature donkeys originated in the Mediterranean area, primarily Sicily and Sardinia. Registered miniatures should be 36" and under. The most common color is grey, but they also come in black, chestnut, brown, and spotted. They are great companion animals. Our herd is registered with the American Donkey and Mule Society.
